They’re underpaid and deserve more rest
It takes a special kind of person to do what they do
Sometimes they have to clean up patients wee and poo!

From all walks of life, they work so well
Listening to your worries and they do not tell
Giving you time to off load your stress
Helping you learn how to deal with the mess

I scream and shout, even smashing up a chair
Putting the staff through an absolute nightmare
Why am I so angry so much?
My feelings inside are all out of touch

I don’t want to hurt anyone, that is a fact
I want to ensure their bones stay in tact
So I have to learn another way
To repress my feelings, come what may
