Vicky
It’s been four years since you left us Vicky
Coping without you has always been tricky
You were so full of life and fun
You were so proud of your gorgeous son
It doesn’t seem long ago since we went to school
You were so clever whilst I played the fool
You dealt with diabetes which was no easy feat
If you had a hypo I would give you something sweet
You were always a fighter but then got the big ‘C’
You battled it so much, trying to break free
You did what you could but sadly lost your fight
Why did it pick you? It’s just not right
Your mum came to join you after battling it too
Cancer takes people away, no matter what you do
I don’t understand why it takes good people
Slowly attacking them, leaving them feeble
You were so beautiful with long blonde hair
Living life to the full, it just doesn’t seem fair
I hope you and your parents are all together
I think about you often, and will do forever
